About Chrisen

I’m Chrisen Presence, a Pilates educator with over 16 years of experience in the Pilates industry.

Having taught more than 20,000 Pilates classes and trained over 1,000 instructors, my mission is simple: to help Pilates teachers become more confident, more effective, and more sought-after.

Over the course of my career, I’ve worked with new graduates, experienced teachers, studio owners, educator teams, and industry leaders across multiple countries.

Today, my work is focused on helping Pilates instructors become exceptional teachers.

Not just instructors who know the exercises.

Instructors who can confidently manage a room, communicate effectively, solve movement challenges, connect with clients, and create classes that people genuinely love attending.

My Approach

Pilates is both an art and a science.

A strong understanding of anatomy and movement principles provides the foundation, but knowledge alone doesn’t make a great teacher. The real skill lies in translating that knowledge into teaching that clients can understand, feel, and benefit from.

My teaching combines traditional Pilates principles, contemporary movement science, and practical real-world experience gained from teaching thousands of classes across a wide variety of settings.

I’m known for making complex concepts simple, practical, and immediately applicable.

Whether we’re exploring anatomy, cueing, class flow, programming, tactile teaching, or advanced repertoire, my goal is always the same:

To provide instructors with tools they can confidently use in their very next class.

Why Pilates Instructors Learn With Me

The Pilates industry has grown enormously over the past decade.

With more instructors entering the profession than ever before, technical knowledge alone is no longer enough to stand out.

The instructors who build rewarding, sustainable careers are often the ones who can communicate clearly, connect with clients, adapt to different environments, and consistently deliver exceptional experiences.

Those are the skills I love teaching.

My workshops, mentoring programs, and education courses are designed to bridge the gap between certification and real-world teaching, helping instructors develop the confidence, clarity, and practical skills that often take years to learn through experience alone.

Beyond the Qualifications

At the end of the day, my greatest professional achievement isn’t a qualification or a job title.
